Update [Thu 29th Oct 2026, 3:06pm]: We've updated the article to include Wuchang: Fallen Feathers now that we've got the official word from Xbox Wire.
Original Story: Thursday is back again, which means it's time for your latest batch of Xbox Free Play Days titles!
So far, we know of six games in the lineup today, with the iconic 'hunter vs survivors' game Dead by Daylight in the mixer. Joining that is Everspace 2 for some interstellar 'pew pews', and a few of other titles if those other two don't interest you.
Starting today, Football Manager 27 is also free to play on the Xbox PC app. Ahead of the game's November 10th launch, Xbox is giving its PC players a free five-day trial (no XGP required) to get cracking with the latest immersive footie manager sim. If you're interested, the trial begins October 29 at 6pm GMT / 11am PDT.
Here's a look at Xbox's latest Free Play Days lineup:
- Darkwood (XGP required)
- Dead By Daylight
- Everspace 2 (XGP required)
- Football Manager 27(PC-only five day trial)
- Spirittea (XGP required)
- Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (XGP required)
You'll require some sort of Xbox Game Pass subscription in order to play some of these games, and that's the case for Darkwood, Everspace 2, Spirittea, and Wuchang. However, Dead by Daylight is free to play for everyone until November 2.
All the other games are free to play until late on November 1, with the slight potential to go on longer. It's also expected to see hefty discounts on FPD games too, which makes adding them to your permanent collection a little easier. Dead by Daylight is currently 60% off, Everspace 2 is knocked down by 80%, Spirittea is cut in half at 50% off, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers has dropped by 30%, and, as things stand, Darkwood is still full price.
