Rovio Entertainment has launched an exciting collaboration between Angry Birds 2 and SEGA’s Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble, bringing AiAi and his monkey crew to Piggy Island for a limited time. The crossover is now live, giving fans new themed content, a special spell, and rewards to unlock until September 28, 2026.
AiAi and the gang arrive on Piggy Island
So, the collab introduces a special Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble event where you can put AiAi’s rolling skills to use against the pigs. Alongside the new Super Monkey Spell, the event also adds themed hats and limited-time rewards inspired by SEGA’s vibrant monkey adventure.
The crossover brings together the playful chaos of both franchises, with familiar characters from Super Monkey Ball joining the Angry Birds for a banana-filled battle. You can take part in the event and collect exclusive content before the collaboration comes to an end.

- Super Monkey Ball Hats: Available until September 24, these themed accessories let Red and the flock dress up as AiAi and his friends while also giving the birds a power boost.

A banana-powered crossover unfolds
The event also comes with a fun crossover story. So, AiAi, MeeMee, Baby, and GonGon find themselves transported through a mysterious portal and land on Piggy Island just as King Pig launches another attack.
With the monkey crew now caught up in the birds’ latest battle, Red and the flock create a special Super Monkey Ball Hat to channel AiAi’s energy. You can then use the new Super Monkey Spell to turn the pigs’ latest plans into a banana-filled disaster.
